First of all, I have decided to change my sight name. Not the URL link, just trying to get my last name off of this blog. I hope this doesn't screw up your links to see me, I am just getting a little paranoid:)
I am going thrift crazy! Something has snapped inside me and all I want to see is avocado green, mushroom ceramic wall hangings and vintage needlepoint! Not to mention I am craving a good long venture into every clothing consignment store in the valley...Etsy has held me over for the long weekend, and I did find these delights...
(wow these pictures are HUGE)
I wonder if I would weigh less on this because it's so rad!!!And OH! Looky. I found my moms dishes on etsy too...She has always complained about these, saying her sister made her register for them before her wedding, but I have always found them wonderfully cute. And I actually smashed some of them up and put them in my dish-mosaic dining room table...

And this I found to be so sweet, and baby saw it and pointed to the two fairies, saying "haddie, paigey." Oh could she be any more sickening sweet...
You want more? I'll give you more.
So completely unsatisfied by window shopping online, I forced my hubby to take me to the thrifty store. DI. stinky but adventurous! These are going somewhere in my house...Check out the cool fake quilt border...Mom told me I had to post these before I put them away for the season. One desperate day with cheap acrylic paints...
This chair was left cold and alone inside, but since I moved it out I have loved it immensely..
This is supposed to say FAMILY. I have the F and the A, and am taking this down, because my toddler won't leave it alone. So if anyone wants it, come and get it. I just put photographs on it with that blue sticky putty stuff.
These are going up in it's place. Yes I know, abc's. Weird, huh? But I kinda like it...
And for those of you who read this blog to hear the latest about my sweet, busy toddler and not my keen sense of decorating, I give you this...
Hadley was so lucky and got to go to see Madagascar 2 with her mommy and daddy. 20 minutes into it she was bored with the sprite, popcorn and gigantic lollipop, and was screaming so loud that everyone in the theater could hear her, and stare. 30 minutes into it we were walking up and down the hall, and after about 45 minutes we left the theater completely. 50 minutes into it she was dead asleep in her car seat. Oh, cute, Huh?

I wish I had 1/10th of your creativity, Kacy! Your table blows my mind! I love it.
well if I did not know you so well I would ask you 'have you been smokin wacky weed?' these colors are from the hippie days when everything was GROOVY,, love the halloween spooks .
How in the heck do you get so dang creative... It sucks to be so boring and know there is so much talent out there, in which I have NONE! I thought I was cool when I stole someone's idea and made pillows out of napkins, but know you creat a beautiful kitchen table that is absolutely amazing! I am officially long past jealous.
Wow! you have been really busy. Sounds like me. All I wanna do is decorate lately and shop. That picture of the two little girls is so sweet"paigey and hadley". I need some haddie squeezes!
wait a minute it was the process of having to register I did not like, just because that was the thing all brides were supposed to do that is why I did not like it,,, ( I was not the typical bride) my dishes are cute even broken up into little bits
KC, you are so much fun! I love the creativity (hope that is spelled right) and enjoy getting the chuckles from you! Love your sense of,......just a minute! Let me see verification word is up,....ooops, it's not there yet. Anyway, I love reading your FUN posts!
Cute stuff! Instead of shopping I feel like selling all my belongings so I can afford to live. Too bad Hadley didn't enjoy the movie much. Olivia wants to go see Bolt when it comes out hopefully she'll last through it because Wall-E wasn't fun.
