I hate the cold and I hate this inversion and I am sick of snow.
But on a happier note...I've decided I need to be more positive. I read a lot of this blog, and I listen to myself at work and home, and I think...Phew! What ticked you off? So here it goes. Optimist Kacy.
Haddies birthday comes early:
Just a little tunnel we bought from the super fab IKEA. Yes, you never leave there with what you were looking for, but instead something you didn't know you had to have. But she loves it. Crawls back and forth playing "peek-a-boo" and trying to push it across the floor. Now I guess I need to find something else to get her for her big FIRST birthday!
Other big Broderick news:
*none. now THAT'S exciting!
Though I did get a new sewing machine for my birthday from my thoughtful husband. So that is kind of news. And we also bought an audio type stand that is less likely to tip onto a toddler if rocked. Oh, and I really want this new quilt for my bed, but my mattress is monstrous, and I think this quilt(even in a King) is a little small?
And the pict looks pink, but the description says deep red. I love it though, and would love to paint my walls and my dresser to match. Hmm. Time will tell....Like my Dear Dad always said...Spit in one hand and wish in the other...

My beautiful family...
Jd and Jennifer's wedding, August 12, 2006...
This was a fun night. Jennifer was a beautiful, glowing bride. (And isn't my mom beautiful? One of our few cherished pictures of her.) I am so excited for baby boy Forbush to come!! So if Brad and Anjelina are Branjelina, then this baby would be Justifer. Or Jennidee. He He. Brent said the other night as I was just looking, "Man! how many clothes are we going to buy for this baby!" Hmm. Good question. Guess he'll just have to wait and see.
Jen has been having me work on some of their wedding pictures. Here is another...
OOOooooohhhhhhh! How romantic...
So it is my birthday on Sunday. big wup huh? 27 big ones. I think my eyelids are sagging. But it is cause for celebration, because for the first time since our Wendover trip (yes, I know it's been 4 months) I'M GOING OUT!! Nothing big, but it's all I can think about. And dream about. Dinner, without being screamed at...Enjoy a meal?
And now my love...
I know you have seen these picts before, but I just got around to digiscrapping them..
I love her so much, even though I lose my temper and have no patience, then feel honestly like the worst mom in the world. Wow. I'm not going to commit to any more children until I do ok raising this one past the age of 3. It's harder than it looks!!

A little Sweet*Mess in my Day of Chaos...
My Sister in law Jocelynne took these cute pictures of Hadley. She is so creative with her picture taking.
This first picture shows a hint of my little brother Kyle. If he were 24 years younger, sweeter and a girl. It was taken Christmas Day.
And here is her little poney...
She is mine, right? Doesn't seem possible I am responsible for something that cute!
And this one I call "Working on my patience" or it could be called "She wasn't in danger and I REALLY needed my hair done so I could leave for work on time."
That mess is still on my bathroom floor. Each time I potty, I just pick up some shreds. No sense in it going to waste!!
And now in limbo...Brent called to inform me that the company he works for (AIMCO) has put the property he works on for sale. They have asked him to stay until it sells, promising a bonus, to keep it running. But after that? Just a little stress on our part. He says it could take up to 3 months, and this happens a lot in the business. He has been reassured by his bosses that he will be given a good recommendation to the new company, whoever they may be, and will probably be re-hired by them.
So I guess the new camera is on hold for now. And the new baby-proof entertainment center I was going shopping for today...

FINALLY!!!
Okay. I started this last summer. Hadleys Quiet Book. She received it for Christmas, but it was somewhat unfinished...
I know this picture is a little jumbled. I just cut and pasted it so I didn't have 100 pictures to upload:)
The top is the front, and the back corner detail "made with love"
Then a peek-a-boo page w/detail, put the worms in the pocket, and dress the bear.
Then count the numbers, and match up shapes, then felt on felt picture making, a glove to put her little hand in, a zipper pocket with her little picture inside, put the babies in the buggy, count the watermelon seeds, and finally the storage pocket.
My advice...buy a quiet book. Actually, it was fun to make knowing (hoping) she will tote this around forever, and maybe one day share it with her little babies...wow that is a strange thought. Me? a grandma?
Might be seeing some better pictures coming soon... Brent and I shopped for cameras a little today. Had to stop ourselves from saying "I'll take it!!"

highlights of my day...
Little miss independent wants to feed herself. I think she might starve if she keeps going on like this...Not much getting to her belly!
Just thought I would share...

Approved
Brent took the time this evening to read over "our" blog. I heard him chuckle a few times, and I told him if he had anything to add he was free to write...Well, it's just me I guess. But he did give his approval on how it was going so far.
I started scrapbooking when Haddie was about 6 months old, so I have been working on the first few months. Doesn't seem real, I don't believe she was ever this little...
But at the same time looking at these pictures, seems like I fell asleep and over night WHAM! It's almost February again, and she is almost a TODDLER!! Does everyone have this hard of a time with their babies turning one? I think starting now I'm going to put every bit of extra time into planning her first birthday. Then I won't have time to really think about it, and then won't get too emotional. Maybe that's how it was for my mom with my wedding? I'm not sure, but this almost feels like the same thing!!(snicker)
And another...
The thing is, she still cries most of her baths...
Advice Please...
So we are somewhat unhappy with our camera, and may soon be in the market for a new one. Digital, FAST, takes great pictures...I want somewhat professional but I really am not willing to play with timing and lighting and all that all (some times is fun) of the time? So something that is somewhat automatic? Ours now is a Kodak 5.0 mp with a 10x zoom, but the quality isn't that great with the picts. I don't know if I just need to mess with the settings or just sell it on KSL...Anyway, any help with the matter is greatly appreciated!
