um...

wow a month? really? where has time gone!
Im stuck in a sad cycle. mon tues work. pick up girls. get home late. pile a carful of belongings on the couch. dinner at 8. girls in bed 930. me in bed 1030. too tired to clean. too tired for dishes.
but wednesday...I spend all mon and tues looking forward to wed. i see wed as a day of sunshine and rainbows, when i will divide and conquer. get up early. be happy. be productive. laundry. dishes. dusting. vacuum. organize. playing with kids. exercise. oh the wonderful things i will get done wednesdays.
but. reality. EVERY wednesday here i sit. i wake up and lay in bed for 30 min listening to the girls wake up and cry for me. then i mosey. mosey to the coffee pot. pour hadley some cereal, give wesley a bottle. mosey to the computer. check emails. and i snoop. i facebook. i look at blogs. oh the wonderful blogs i see. all these productive people doing productive things. i look at all the things i would like to do. projects to sew. walls to paint. pictures to take. headbands. purses. then i get depressed. all these things i never get around to doing. and hadley is yelling at me, hitting my arm. MOM IM HUNGRY. wow. is it really noon already? all 3 of us still in jammies. baby has a wet diaper. so i mosey to the kitchen. make lunch in the corner of the kitchen where there is a few inches of clean counter top to throw together some sandwiches. and pile the dishes in the sink. we eat, and now it is nap time. another 3 hours of peace and quiet, 3 hours to be productive, and i am tempted again. i think "i could do a craft" so i sit back at the computer to look for that one cool thing i saw this morning. and look. and look. and the baby cries, jolting me back to reality, and i realise it is now 3. brent will be home in 2 hours. i am still in my jammies, dirty mouth, dirty house. i hate wednesdays. or at least what my lazy butt makes of them. so thursday i clean, and i have now wasted my days off. icky! i am going to have an intervention for myself. get a life. get off the computer!

*~*~*~*~
Happy things: like happy chubby babies!

2 camping trips under our belt, and many more on the way. we are having a blast with our new trailer, and hadley couldn't me messier. i mean happier. digging, fishing, climbing, jumping, and more digging. We went to Goblin Valley, then Palisades Lake. the pictures are a little out of order, sorry. hadley even heard the easter bunny go "hop hop" outside, and then followed a fun egg trail to her easter bag!

ang-wee

we are working on feelings. kind of. one mostly. anger. I tell hadley she made a naughty choice and that makes me angry. then she fights back and growls and tells me "mom you make me feel ang-wee!"

we also know love. i love you to the moon and back. a bushel and a peck. or i love you this [----------------]much. or "i don't love you mommy. i only love daddy."

our city has started recycling. (yeah!) and we are trying not to be wasteful. (brand new banana)
hadley, don't waste that banana
MOM! im not going to waste it! i just want to throw it a-WAY! grrrr.

~6 months~
well, almost 7. have i mentioned how much I love this baby?

She jibber-jabbers all day, jumps, squeals, has two stubby bottom teeth, and is the most mellow, happy-go-lucky chubby baby! If she was my first baby, I probably would be on #3 or 4 by now!
Hadley and I had the BEST girls day with our friends, Tiff and Olivia. Disney on Ice came to town, and we snatched up tickets as soon as we heard. Well, against everything I thought I would do as a mother, I dressed up my toddler in her fanciest princess dress and we marched down town to the show. It was magical!

princesses get boogers too.

my 3rd child, Brent, has been keeping me very busy as well, with our newest addition:we talk, eat, sleep, breath the trailer. Hope to create lots of fun memories with this, if we ever get it out of my driveway!

Happy *cough* Birthday *cough* To You! *cough cough*

Hadley Jo is 3 today. My sweet, spunky, bossy, funny, giggly, naughty, happy girl is already 3. I can't believe it.

We have already rescheduled her birthday party from Saturday to today, the poor girl had a high fever with croup on Saturday. They gave her a steroid that kept that "barky" cough from getting bad, but today she is coughing like crazy! Hopefully the Vicks rubbed all over her feet will help and we can PARTY HARDY tonight at BOONDOCKS!!

and...

happy valentines to my sweety. who made all of this possible (read next post to understand). (made all of this possible except the nieces new shirt...at least i hope not!)

today...

~i snuggled and kissed my baby in bed till 9am
~i vacuumed out my car and found an embarrassingly old apple behind hadleys car seat
~i jogged with brent and lifted weights. kinda. we'll see the pain it brings me tomorrow as i try to blow dry 6 heads of hair
~i haven't washed off yesterdays makeup
~i am torn with decisions (its a toughie!) baby fats is now 6 months old, and the tub-a-lub has burned the motor out in her baby swing. is it worth it to find another? i can't remember when you quit using swings, and...I mean, it is our SECOND favorite babysitter in the house. (the FIRST is DORA)
~i can't quit thinking about this:or these:

these 4 blue eyes with long, dark lashes, 2 juicy kissable mouths, 4 rosy, pinch able cheeks (or is it 8?) and my oldest baby is THREE! a fully functioning, independent CHILD! its hard to describe the happy heartache it gives me. and my youngest baby is suddenly a BABY, not a newborn, not even an infant. she is a babbling, bubbling, playing BABY! stop these girls, please?!
~and i am giddy and bubbly inside because of my nieces new shirt: and the smiles her new shirt has put on so many faces...especially the daddy, mommy and big sisters of the new little one on the way! congrats you guys, couldn't be happier for you!

(sorry, keeps going)
i had to write down a few things haddie has told me as of late:
~(after tripping over the garbage can lid) "MOM! you need to keep it kween so i don't step on fings and swide on fings!!!"
~"mommy...it's weally sure nap time"
~"it's fun to look at our poops, huh? mine looks like a snake and a pterodactyl!" I saw no pterodactyl in the potty. Still looking, though.
