This month has been so crazy. When I haven't been working, I have been cleaning, shopping, cooking, partying, or dealing with yet another temper tantrum. Not to mention a toddler with croup, trying to make some homemade Christmas presents (still not done, hoping to get some time today!) Plus a little MORNING SICKNESS (surprise!) along with some sleepiness, forgetfulness, and a partridge in a pear tree!
I am about 7 weeks pregnant, surprising even for me. I faced some fertility issues with Hadley, so number 2 so quickly has thrown me all out of sorts. I know it's early to tell everyone, but I am horrible at keeping things to myself, which probably is what got me in this situation! Ok, bad joke.
Christmas was so hectic! We made 6 stops, 113 miles, and 13 hours away from home. Forgot our camera, Hadley didn't get much of a nap, woke with a slight fever, and we rushed from house to house to house. I was hoping she was going to be so exciting and fun this year, and to a certain extent she was. But we also got a lot of hitting, "MINE!", "Haddie do it", and of course "NOOOO". Poor baby Noah didn't really stand a chance against her.
Sledding at Grandma Whiteys house on Christmas Eve:
Christmas Morning:Her in her princess dress up kit. I was dreading buying it, but she has been so funny cloppin around in those plastic shoes and sideways tiara!
And some more funnies:This is what I get when I put an ornery baby in a timeout in her crib, when she knows how to undress herself.Sorry, I know this one is sideways and I can't figure out how to rotate it. New camera.

Kare Bear
Happy Birthday to KARI!!!We have been so lucky to see this teeny bopper grow into a beautiful, angel of a WOMAN? (I am not quite there myself, though I am *gasp* a little older!) She has been our saving grace as of late, she was my go-to with a fussy baby since she is a PRO, and I love the way she loves my Haddie. Married to my stinky baby brother, and mommy to my two sweet and sassy nieces Payton and Paige.
Kar, I really, truly, sincerely hope you have a wonderful day of birth. Love you always.

Things have been a little wacky lately, I have not had much time to post. But I would like to share my new Christmas Tree Skirt...I was due for shatterproof decorations, so I went with all new colors. Hadley was so so helpful! But since then she has tried her little heart out to be helpful, and brings me at least 3 ornaments a day off the tree.

I wish I had a really long neck
Happy Happy 4th Birthday to sweet Evan.
You are so special to us all, even if you had a really long neck!
(as he said while looking at the supersaurus dinosaur)
Hope your cake is chocolate, and doesn't melt!
(He wished we could have his party outside at Castle Park, so his cake won't melt!)

102 now 103
Yes I gained a pound. Stupid Turkey.
Ok, I can't fool you. I just logged in to blogger and it said 102 posts, so this makes 103! Wow that is a lot of nonsense writing. And so much more to come...
I have been lost in dust bunny land for awhile, cleaning, working, cleaning, crying along with more cleaning. I had one of my best EVER girlie friends in town from Colorado. BFF Lori and her roomy Sarah came to light up my routine. We spent much time with other BFF Tiff Twighlighting (twice!), shopping, and going out too late and reminding me that I am not as young as I once was... (Picture stolen from Kari) Lori, Sarah, Me and Preggers Tiff. It's crazy that I don't see my friends(near or far) for awhile, but we pick up where we left off being silly and knowing each other TOO well.
This year for thanksgiving, we ate once at Garth and Vickie's (Brents Dad and Stepmom,) once at my little brother and SIL's house (thank you kari, it was wonderful) and this year we volunteered to have Brents side of the family over for Thanksgiving on Sunday. That's the way to go, I tell ya. My house was cleaned, my husband man handled the turkey, all I did was open 6 or 7 cans for a casserole and olives, set the table (fancy paper plates), ate my weight in sweet potatoes, kept most the leftovers, and just put the dishes away while my MIL and GrandmotherIL hand washed all the dishes! Everyone helped clean up before they left, Hadley could be lost in her own room throwing her fits, it was rather nice! Everyone crowded into my formal dining room...OH! I mean office...This year I have been somewhat humbled, and I am thankful for my husbands stable job, our health we take advantage of, my sweet sassy baby who has learned "thank you" and repeats it in her squeaky little voice melting my heart, and all of my dysfunctional wonderful family, who would do anything for us. Life is good, please do not be fooled by my mood swings.
Every thing we need to know we learn from our children, such as: Keep your skin baby soft with daily facial masks of lunch. Chili, for that matter. Fountain of Youth right there...
